It is 2am, your rabbit is not right, and every vet is closed
So you search — and get forum posts written by people with dogs, blogs that contradict each other, and advice that is safe for a cat and lethal for a rabbit. Rabbits do not tolerate the same drugs, cannot vomit, and go downhill in hours rather than days. The problem at 2am is not that there is no information. It is that you cannot tell which of it was written by anyone who knows rabbits.

What it does

- Pulls the 12 closest passages to your actual question and answers from those, then shows you which ones, so you or your vet can read the original.
- Reads photos and video you attach — a posture, a wound, a dropping, a way of sitting.
- Knows your rabbit if you have filled in a profile: age, breed, neuter status, surgeries, weights. Eight-year-old lop with dental surgery in March is a different answer to 'a rabbit'.
- Tells you when the answer is 'see a vet today' instead of talking you out of going.
What it will not do
Dr. Hopps is not a veterinarian. It does not diagnose, it does not prescribe, and it will not tell you a dose. It exists to help you tell normal from urgent at the hour when nobody is open — and to send you to a rabbit-savvy vet the moment that is the real answer.
It never asks you to take its word for it
Ask anyone — a forum, a chatbot, even a good vet at the end of a long day — and you get an answer you cannot check. This one hands you the papers with it. Every reply carries the sources it used, so you can open the study yourself, and so can your vet. It has read more rabbit-specific literature than any one person has time for, and it is rabbits only: no dog advice quietly blended in, which is where most of the internet's rabbit information actually comes from. When nothing in the library covers your question, it says so in the first line and carries no citations — because a source you can click and not find the claim in would be worse than none.
